The first time I went to Capital Q, it was the day AFTER the national barbecue something … in Washington DC … on the mall and it appears that I was the only one to not get BBQ this last weekend. So there was NO crowd.

The food is good, though simple. A bed of rice and a half pound or so of sliced brisket, hot or mild BBQ sauce on the side was my choice. Shiner Bock in a bottle.

Don’t be misled by the webcam ! BTW, I’m assuming none of you saw me on the cam … otherwise I’d be hearing about it … that is NOT a liquor bar. It’s more like a lunch counter.
