Thousand Oaks
Worth visiting!
A tip I have about this place
To reserve a camp spot, go to http://www.reserveamerica.com. When they say they’re full, you can drive up and ask if there’s a spot available because someone didn’t show up even though they had reservations.
They have sites foe tent, trailer, or RV camping. The RV sites are somewhat small- get used to being close to your neighbors! Still, there’s a beach only a few steps away and the town of Carpinteria is a bike ride away, so you’re not stuck in that little confined area if you don’t want to be (and why would you?!).
