I think Romes beauty is a little overrated (specifically in comparison to other european cities), but to just stand there, in between the “Coliseo” and “Palantino” is breathtaking, it allows you to take a trip back in time, it’s almost possible to hear the rattling of roman armor and the busy ancient roma life, the cheers from the Colisseum, even the ocasional lion roar. It’s a little haunting just standing there.

Now, Im not saying the city is ugly either, the city is just a little worn out, why wouldn’t it be? It’s a city thousands of years old, it’s pretty amazing. At night, it feels so cozy just walking around the streets, taking a break on some of the many plazas, even if you’re by yourself you can feel the romance in the air. Rome was once capital of the world and you can sense it. with it’s history all around, and let’s not forget the great works of art like the Fontana di Trevi.
