If you go canooing (“paddeln”) make sure you choose a route of appropriate difficulty! Don’t choose a three hour route if you can’t paddle! Make sure to carry a map, too; the canals can be very confusing. It’s definitely worth visiting, though! Oh, and the pickles are excellent!
