I visited Fayetteville about six years ago to see a college boyfriend, who was from the area. I thought it was beautiful- mountains, lakes, cute downtown. I remember being surprised at the time at how good the food was and how lively everything seemed. There was a great drive- in movie theater as well. I would go back. over 7 years ago
