Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

Nanjing or previously known as ‘Nanking’ This is where the forgotten Holocaust of WWII occurred. I am reading the book by Iris Chang “The Rape of Nanking” and I want to see this place and the safety zone.

I just visited the Museum of Tolerance in L.A which spoke of the “other” Holocaust. The one in Germany…..

The Museum of Tolerance?

I will have to google that. It is hard for me to read that book. I can only read a few pages at a time. It is so horrifying. And to think that people flock to watch ‘torture porn’ movies makes me sick.

Hapy endings!

Yes! I too am a happy ending at the movies type of person. Although sometimes it becomes to predictable. I love a twist though! Todd? He likes happy sexual endings? Interesting fact about him….but then everyone would like a REAL happy sexual ending, eh?

I still cannot bring myself to finish this book….it is hard to read through the torture that they had to endure..and just the cruelty of it all is unbearable.

Rodney Dangerfield

Actually, I think “happy endings” came from one of my favorite comedians.
He said, “I walked into one of those “happy ending joints”, and got all excited until I found out it was “self-serve.”
I miss Rodney. I was supposed to see him in concert, but his health had worsened to the point where his doctor didnt allow it.
