Moved back to raise my family by outdoorgirl

I already said I grew up here and now we’re back to raise our own family. We came back because of all the places we’ve lived Oklahoma has the friendliest people and we have family here. I’d love to say there is a lot of unique activities and scenery but after falling in love with the Colorado back-country there is just no comparison.

I love all the community activities offered by the City of Edmond. It is a very unique, safe, and enjoyable enviornment to raise a family. The people are very involved in the community. The schools are excelent! http://www.greatschools.net/schools.page?map=1&district=167&state=OK&showall=true Go ahead, look them up for yourself!

I will say from a child’s perspective this is the only city I lived in as a child where it was NOT considered “uncool” to go to church. Many of the kids that didn’t attend church either said they did or ended up finding a church.

It is refreshing to see someone not wanting to leave OK! I also grew up in Oklahoma, and am so glad we were able to move home again. The Pikes Peak area in Colorado is my second favorite home—my grown children are near Boulder, so my heart is there!

I left my heart in the Rockies, I will swing by and pick it up on my way to Washington state once my kidlets grow up! We plan to sell the house, buy a nice RV, and make the most of an empty nest… but thats at least 13 years away.
