Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Nando's is the BEST!!!

“For the hottest taste in town head straight to Nando’s Tooting and eat the heat!!!”

I love a good Nando’s supper and am very thankful that our own area of Tooting has one! Mark and I walk there quite often for some flame-grilled peri-peri chicken! They serve the BEST Peri-peri chicken.

Sometimes we get the grilled peri-peri chicken breast burgers with pineapple, cheese, and lettuce (plus extra medium peri-peri sauce on). Other times, it’s the girlled peri-peri 1/2 chicken with sides of spicy rice and chips with peri-peri spice on them. They have other sides too like corn on the cob, garlic bread, or salad. Yet another plus is their Bottomless beverage policy so that we can put out the fire on tap! We drink so much Fanta whilst there.

My tip would be that if you go be sure to leave with your own bottle of peri-peri sauce (you can purchase at register)!

Sounds Delicious

There are some really great places to eat in and around London. A lot of them are just hole-in-the-wall kind of places, but some of them are sooooooo good.

Speaking of drinks. I think that one of my favorite soft drinks to get over there is Lilt.

I really like it. The only problem is that I fell in love with it several years ago, and now that I’m a waaaay old man I have to watch my sugar intake, and haven’t found such a thing as diet Lilt. :-(

I do manage to get a sip of it though. Such ecstacy.

I like IRN BRU and diet IRN BRU and Fanta

I read today the preservatives in soda may be VERY bad for people and even cause Parkinson’s disease Ugh, I hope that’s not true because I’m always sucking down a diet dr. pepper or some other soda pop!

Yeah, Nando’s is great. I really hope we get some in The States soon! I think it would go over really well.

One good thing to go out for in London is curry!

Curries are good too

I like chicken vindaloo.

I don’t know if you watch Red Dwarf, but after hearing Lister talk about them incessantly I just had to try it. :-)

I've heard of it

but do not own it on DVD or such. I think my husband likes it a lot though. Lister likes curry? OK, I got it… Lister’s favourite dish is CURRY! http://groovetown.co.uk/songs/displaysong.php?id=51&cid=15

LMAO, ok… I’ll have to check it out!

I like Chicken Tikka Massalla, Shakooti Chicken, and plain old Chicken Curry the best. I also love Naan bread.

Mark and I get our curry Tootin’ style at Tooting High St. Tooting is very well known for curry houses. Oh, I’m missing it now! There doesn’t seem to be any place to get a good curry where I am in The States now and the TV dinners I purchase don’t seem to have curry either. Why not?

I’ve made my own before… using LOW-FAT yogurt as a curry really is so creamy and fattening. But, mine don’t come out as good as the ones from curry house of course. Boy, I’d love some Chicken Tikka Massalla now!
