I drove through Baker, with my family, a couple of times, as a child. I don’t remember seeing the giant thermometer, however, so I’d like to go back, just to see that.

The drive between Las Vegas and Los Angeles is quite a pleasant one, if you like desert scenery (and your car’s A/C is functional).

That is a feat. Driving through Baker, and not seeing the thermometer. If it werent for the thermometer and the Bun Boy restaurant, intrepid travelers like R8 would never bother with this burg.

There’s a whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on, down there, in Baker. I really must go, again, to catch all I’ve missed.
