This was far enough from the glut of condos in Mammoth which was one of the factors when choosing. Stayed in one of the rustic cabins..and they were. So rustic mice were in the room and coming up the bed. On the way out the door to go hike the mountain I mentioned this to the front desk. Came back and they had moved us to a cabin twice the size, better view of the twin lakes, and every last thing to my hair brush was moved and put in the new place where I would’ve left it at the old.

Food was ok…I highly recommend The Stove in town for breakfast pre-hiking.

The lodge has canoes and kayaks and lots of areas to hike around.
