I could not believe how hot it was… when we left the Hoover Dam is was 115 in the shade, driving out of vegas it was about the same, then it just kept getting HOTTER. a few months later i tried to check the temps for that day and found that there were severe heat warnings for that day! And there were record temps… crazy. It was beautiful out there though on the way to Poway.
