Worth visiting!
I just realised how much of a food bum I am!
I stayed here for over a year, the first time I moved to Malaysia. I love love love subang!
Everything is so convenient, we’ve got our own carrefour, shopping centers and huge loads of eateries. There is also starbucks and a drive thru Maccas!!
That to me is one of the most important fixtures in subang.

I decided to pass on the sardine doughnut. Go figure.
It was a tough choice but I ended up with this. It was some sort of a pizza roll type thing with mixed vegetables on it and a piece of apple pie. It wasn’t bad, but neither do you see me saving my pennies to get back on the plane to Johor Bahru to score another one.

The veggie roll thingie looks kinda yummy. I’m not too sure about the apple pie though – it looks a bit dodgy.
You didn’t try the sardine donut? :p

the apple pie looks dodgy. The only apple pie you can eat in Malaysia is the one you get from McDonald’s. :)
The others… just give it a miss.

It isn’t a donut per se..
They just use the bread that they use to make donut to make a bun. And spicy bits of sardine is put inside.
It tastes really yum hey!
You should have tried it!!
Can’t get it anywhere else. I admit I was put off by it, but when you are new in town, just try everything possible!! :)

Maybe it isn’t so bad. Usually when someone like me sees the word Donut we expect the only acceptable prefixes to be things like” Sugar, Glazed, or Jelly Filled.
Admittedly the word Sardine as a prefix completely catches me off guard.
I must admit though, that I am not much of a fan of seafood in any form. So I probably won’t try it myself. But I’d certainly be willing to try and talk a traveling companion into taking a bite of one.
