Was for my 10th birthday dinner. I begged my parents to take me here after visiting a similar restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown. We removed our shoes before stepping up into the tatami room and being seated at the low table. I thought my parents looked so funny sitting on the floor for some reason!
The miso soup served in black lacquered bowls was intoxicating as was the sunumono salad. I thoughroughly enjoyed watching the kimono-clad lady cooking Teriyaki before us on the table!
I wanted to go here again as a newlywed with my husband, so we went for my 20th birthday! WoW I can’t believe it’s been 31 years since ~ Sounds like a trip to Bush Gardens is in order!!
