There’s a lot of history in this place, the manor house was used as a tuberculosis ward until it was closed in the 20s, it was reopened using the money given to the hotel for rennovation after filming the TV version of ‘The Shining’. Steven Kind stayed here while writing the book. Recently there was a convention with members of TAPS and experts on paranormal research. Tickets were too expensive for me to attend.
