Europe: Slovakia

Because I live in Slovakia and think it is a beautiful country. I’m not patriotic at all but became proud of my homeland during the stay in the US. I realized that Slovakia has interesting history and beautiful nature scenery.

I study in Levoca (historical town) and live in a village that is situared under the Spish Castle (very cool). I hope I will go to a university in Kosice (amazing historical city) and go hiking to High Tatras (mountains) this summer. I also love Slovak Paradise (national park) where I can breathe fresh air.

there is much more in Slovakia than I thought. I went there long time ago, we visited many places in the East Side, but I can’t remember now most of them, because I was very young back then, and I found it boring to go from museum to museum. Now I could appreciate it more! And the Tatas must be beautiful, it even amazed me in that time!

i’ve never liked museum,i hate them,but i realize that ppl should know their history.however,slovakia is more than just history.High Tatras are still very beautiful,even though the storm a few years ago damaged most of the forrest trees.I went skiing there this winter and the view was just marvellous!!It’s good to come here if u r a fan of hiking,bicycling and other sports that show u the Slovak scenery.
