A question about this place:
What are those wet looking winter jackets (waxed cotton) that I see Japanese wearing in Canada? Belstaff (UK) makes something similar. Is it the same brand?  — 1 year ago

The waxed cotton ones I see the Japanese wearing in Japan are made in England by Barbour. They’re usually very dark green or brown, have a plaid flannel lining, a corduroy collar and a distinctive smell from the “proofing”.

Belstaff jackets, in my experience, look more motorcycle-y, and Barbours look more country-y.
