Not worth visiting!

Water and Humidity! Not a good combo!

My husband was in Iraq (the first time – 1990) and my sister had come up from Ft. Rucker to visit me at Fort Bragg.

While she was with me, Desert Storm ended, and my hubby came home. We took my sister back to Ft. Rucker while we started making the “relative” rounds (visiting all the relatives).

We opened her government housing up, and the place was covered in MOLD! It was GROSS!! She had placed a work order before she left and housing never showed up to fix the hot water leak.

Another reason I’ll never live on the East Coast again!

FT Rucker

I loved it, near the beach! The citizens of the area are great! and friendly. I also attended college from Dothan on base. The staff was great! There was plenty of things for my two small children to do. I was in the process of an ugly divorce, but the friends and neighbors there pulled me thru a dark time in my life! I wished I still lived there, but my job led me near Huntsville, Al. I went thru three hurricanes while there in 98 and 99, but you can see them coming . Now I got to worry about tornadoes, no telling where they are coming from!
