Worth visiting!

A question about this place:
I am landing in Christchurch.. but I have hired a car.. where can I go in 2 days? I need to be back @ Christchurch in the afternoon on the 4th day. And where is a nice thermal spring resort near Christchurch or on the south island that i can get in the 4  — 1 year ago

Hanmer Springs is a thermal spring resort about 90 minutes from christchurch. I think there is also one on the way to the west coast but im not too sure. A really nice place to visit which isnt far from christchurch is Akaroa.
