Worth visiting!
i’ve been here and i had a really really great time. i did have an inhabitant as a guide, though… :) you don’t want to go to ankara for the culture, go to istanbul for that. best thing about ankara is the night-life!

Well, if Ankara have 20 bars/discos to and 4 or 5 worth going, Istanbul does have 2000 bars/discos 40 or 50 worth going for sure! I am living here for about 25 years, and everytime we go out, we keep on saying which place to go… actually, there is a web site for it. http://www.hangibar.com/
Ok, I’m not saying that Ankara is a total loser for its nightlife, but when compared to Istanbul, ah just forget it.

oh well, i admit i might be a bit biased, and in the end it’s not me living there :) but that doesn’t change the fact i had a really great time in your city! it wasn’t some disco or pub that did the trick (to me they’re the same everywhere!), but rather the people :)
