In Heredia, which is a little northwest of the capital San Jose, I spent several weeks learning Spanish and getting college credit. Through the weeks, I traveled to different places around the country, including Isla Tortuga, Playa Samara, Manuel Antonio, and others. What an awesome summer!
When I went back in April 2006, my boyfriend and I traveled to the east coast to Jaco and Playa Hermosa, among others. I prefer the west coast but the culture of the east coast is very inviting. It is an AWESOME country to visit and spend some time. Compared to Costa Rica, we don’t know what the color GREEN looks like! over 6 years ago
