Not worth visiting!
I grew up here...
and it used to be a much more interesting place.
What is now endless miles of concrete and malls used to be beautiful green farmland. “Maryland Farms,” before it was an office park, was a scuzzy little track where racehorses were trained, usually to run in some other state (parimutual betting was illegal in TN). The Farms were rife with colorful characters, though.
The Huff brothers used to smoke wonderful country hams here, not too far from where Red Lobster is today (ugh.)
I imagine Brentwood is a pleasant place to live today—they’ve got paved roads, and city water, and all that stuff, which is very nice, but it used to be interesting and now it could be anywhere in America, anywhere that has malls and parking lots.
