Meat-eaters only! by Hostess

The architecture in Genova is brilliant; lots of funky facades too. However, as a vegetarian, it had next to NO vegetarian food!!!It was difficult to find restaurants at all, actually!

Very rustic, and a little hilly. Worth an afternoon there perhaps but there is not that much to do!

Uh oh..

I’m a vegetarian (though I can eat seafood) and am kind of bummed about your comment since this summer I was looking at going to Genova. But I guess I’ll just stick to the supermarkets, that’s fine.

Where did you stay? I’m trying to find a cheap place to stay – any good hostels or suggestions? I’ll be there for 2 nights, 3 days.

Thanks in advance!

Dont worry!

Don’t worry cos you eat seafood!! They are rather fond of their octopus!? I was not a fan! But seriously, they serve lots of fish usually..but don’t plan to eat after 9/10pm, they start shutting really early, as its not that touristy.

I stayed on the Easy Cruise ship so I don’t know much about the hotels there.

Make sure you buy some Pesto, as this is where it was invented!!

Hope this helps!
