Overlooking the Hudson has its own beauty in the all the seasons throughout the year. During the summer and the spring, you can watch the boats travel in and out of the locks up and down the river. You can also look north and see a beautiful rainbow that extends over the falls, which I have yet to get a picture of. Just take a book to the park and enjoy the shade or sun and relax, or a brown bag lunch with the kids and have fun because the other little park with swings is only 1 block over from there. Its a beautiful quiet town with very friendly people who are always out to help you.
