We leave in 2 weeks to spend 3 weeks in the Yucatán Peninsula, dividing our time equally among the 3 states of Quintana Roo, Yucatán, and Campeche. We plan to avoid touristic, arch-consumeristic droves in Cancún, seeking out instead remote ruins and quieter, gentler locales. This is one of the less-frequently visited ruins we hope to find.
