Worth visiting!

A question about this place:
Is it forbidden to walk hand in hand, between a woman and a man, in public?  — 3 years ago

It is forbidden for an unmarried couple to walk hand-in-hand in public. A married couple can pretty much do what they want (legally, what the husband wants) in public. But there should be no physical contact between unrelated persons of the opposite sex.

This begs the question: can an Iranian man carry some unknown woman into a hospital? It would be unlawful, but moral under Islam (from what I understand). And since Islam comes before the laws, the police and government would look likely the other way, even during conservative times – but don’t quote me on that. Things can change there very quickly.

what u hear and see from iran through movies and news..i could say not totally but fortunately are 70% fake! there is not such a thing as not bein’ abel to hold a friend’s hand in the street..only if you are really doin’ a move, well sure it will be strange for others and would attract their attention.. but on regular basis couples have the chance of holding hands!!..goin’ out..restaurants and parks and movies untill they are not really overactin’ in public..anyways i better say the capital “tehran” IS worth visitin’ once.. better to c the stuff from close urself!
