The first time I went to England was a few years back, it was so beautiful and rich in culture, I had the time of my life. I went there to visit some old friends from way back when…
I have pictures, I will have to post them at another time. I don’t think that I will ever forget my first trip to England, it was spectacular, it was the first time I saw snow, the moment I saw it I just knew I had to run outside and touch it, it was cold :) I was so excited, I fell in love there, it was so magical…the magic is over now though, it ended in 2006 :( that’s okay though, it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all… right? That’s what they say… Anyway, I went to York, Manchester, Leeds, got lost somewhere in Scotland cuz I ended up falling asleep on the train… I visited a cathdral in York…or Leeds, can’t remember which… It was huge! It was also very beautiful, from the ceiling to the floor, it was so amazing and obviously the worker was very dilligent while he worked on it, it shined as though it had been built the day before I was there. It was cool because the minute we entered someone came over the loud speaker and asked us all to pause, close our eyes, and send a prayer up for the victims of the tsunami in Asia, that happened while I was in England… As I walked around the cathedral I just took all it’s beauty in and of course I had to kneel and pray so that I could thank God for allowing me to have and share that opportunity with someone I hold near and dear to my heart…. I had a great time in England and if God wills it, I look forward to going back this summer!!!
