you can just go.. there are plenty of places to stay.. best bet is to just show up.. n look for a place in town so you can walk to the restuarants at night.. if ya stay way down the road.. its kinda a pain in the butt.. too far,, n too dark to be walking to town at night.. if you’re right there close to the main beach. its more fun..n then ya can rent a bike in the days n peddle you way down the beach road.. lots of fun..

also if ya find a place when ya get there.. then you can walk around some of lil hotels close there n check out your room before you get one.. owners change so often ya just kinda got to check out your room first..

I highly recommend buying a “lonely planet’ travel guide.. they have all the places listed with a lil map.. so ya know where your at n ya know all to cool stuff to check out.. basically i would recommend for any country you’re going to to buy lonely planet travel guide for the country..

i never book ahead for anywhere i go. i just get the book n buy a plane ticket.. n go.

ohh yeah,, n don’t go to Limon.. I have been to some pretty sketchy places in my travels.. in indo, asia n central america.. Limon was one place even I didnt really feel to safe to be walking around.. n nothing to see there anyway.. just a dirty port town with drunk truckers n scary lookin hookers.. lol..

Puerto Viejo is beautiful.. n more fun if you’re stayin in town, ya kinda get stuck at night in the places way down along the beach road cause not too safe to be walking or riding your bike into town at night.. cool.. have fun..
