Worth visiting!
If you’re in the area already, go ahead and try downtown Hollywood, it’s trying very hard to be cool. The best restaurant is Sushi Blues, which, you guessed it, has live blues bands (and great sushi).

Are they still around? I went to school with the owner’s daughter (Melissa), and I remember her dad being so quirky. It really showed through in the restaurant.

It’s still there, it moved from Young Circle to a few blocks away (Harrison St I think). It’s a much bigger venue, and fancier inside. More cooked food, and more space for bands. All around a good deal. I eat there every time I’m back in Hollywood (usually Thanksgiving time).
