I attended the Center for Talent Development (CTD) summer workshops (Spectrum and then Equinox) for two years during high school. We stayed in Northwestern dorms and visited a bunch of places (Cubs game, Ravinia, etc.) in Evanston and nearby Chicago. It was a fantastic time.

Probably my favorite moment was staying up all night and then going for a sunrise swim (more like a quick splash — holy crap, it’s cold!) in the lake.
