I visit this place because my folks still live here. I suppose it’s not such a bad place, but still … I can’t recommend it as a tourist destination. Possibly the most interesting thing about the place is Crown Point’s dubious claim to fame: John Dillinger escaped from the county jail with a handgun fashioned out of soap.
