Worth visiting!

Simple and good

This place seems to have a pretty good reputation – top reviews, lots of customers, many of them speaking Italian, and of course the Time Out magazine top 10 list.

This was my first experience of the Time Out top 10 pizza joints, and it didn’t disappoint. The service was non-existent, there wasn’t much room to sit, there was no bathroom (to take my insulin), and despite saying on the door that they took mastercard, they had a $17 limit on it (a strange amount indeed, but it happened to coincide with the cost of one pie).

I timed it well and we ordered 5 slices between two of us from a freshly cooked pie, so we didn’t have to eat a whole pie between us, and still had it freshly cooked.

I had my fun with the condiments, especially the oregano, and I took a seat where I had monopoly access to them.

The pizza was great, it was a standard pie without anything special, but the crust was really nice, the cheese and sauce were good, it was fresh and not to greasy, and cheap.

Not Yet

But Totonno’s is definitely on the to do list (or is that ‘to go’?)

Thanks for the advice

I have a reputation as an ice cream fiend, and have been known to demand it late at night after too much alcohol.
