Worth visiting!
I lived in Tampico for two months in the beginning of this year, I was staying with a friend and her family. It’s not exactly a tourist destination, but the people are lovely and the night life is great if you know where to go.

Hello there, I’m a Tampico native and even though I haven’t been there in about 13 years, I have great memories of the place. I remember how beautiful the beaches were and I would love to go back one day.

Yay for Tampico-ites! It’s still a good looking little city, probably bigger now than what you remember. The streets are busy and full of people, very few tourists which is nice. The beaches still stretch on and on, covered with people on sunny days. It’s holding up well!
