Worth visiting!
A review of this place
The communal areas are quite nice. They have a hot tub, wet/dry sauna, and cold plunge. All for $15 for an unlimited amount of time. Cheaper for New Mexico residents. There were a lot of nekkid guys there, so if nekkidness bothers you, you may be out of luck (or you can choose one of their other private options). There is a separate communal women’s area, though, so they can escape nekkid guys at least if they wish (nekkid-fearing guys are still out of luck). I did wish they had separate wet and dry saunas as I prefer hitting them individually, but there probably would be too much duplication of services for them.
I had heard that the spa treatments and rooms are very very nice, but I just ponied up the $15 and relaxed in the communal area.
I am surprised that it is listed in Patricia Schultz’s 1000 Places list, because while the place is very cool, aren’t there better places, say, in Japan? Maybe not.
