I understand you can no longer carry stillettos through airport checkpoints. They tend to frown upon them.

Are you a podiatrist? Feet hate them yes…but I think may men loooove them! women generally love to wear them…i think to attract males. I don’t wear them anymore. I would rather be comfortable. In fact I don’t even wear heels anymore, unless it is a special occasion. Ok, I do take them to work and change shoes there. But I would NEVER walk outside in them! I have seen feet that have been damaged by years and years of wearing high heels…and I will tell you…not a pretty sight! Many women are getting surgery for bunions and hammer toes, and what is more unbelievable is that they just go right back to wearing the high heels!

Eh??? You wouldnt be from Canada by any chance, would ya? One of my favorite movies of all time, Fargo, makes heavy use of Canadian accents and eccentricities. If you havent seen it, by all means do. Word of caution: my wife hated it.
Yes, I am a podiatrist, and yes, all men including podiatrists, love to see women in high heels.

I AM CANADIAN! Damn proud of it too! I put “ehs” when I write…seems to make non Canadians laugh! I have seen bits and pieces of “Fargo” and I did like what I saw. A lot of movies I like are not typical chick flicks.
So Dr. ToddieM…what is a really good shoe? Are Birkenstocks any good?

Rockports have the APMA seal of approval.
Running shoes of any kind are great, not confining, and offer adequate support.
Birkenstocks are incredibly functional; they just arent aesthetic, in ToddieM’s opinion.
