while i don’t especially care for the ultra-modern decor (it’s almost a parody of a hip l.a. place), i thought the food was excellent. in addition to being interesting & creative, the dishes were perfectly prepared & beautifully presented.

it IS quite expensive but i would still go back, if only for a special occasion.
