Not worth visiting!
Honestly, get a couple of ratty department store mannequins, set them up with halfassed pirate costumes and, oh look! You have your very own pirate museum! You didn’t even have to leave home!

Well, if you take it for what it is (a cheesy tourist trap) then it’s kinda enjoyable. But it’s not really a MUSEUM museum, per se. There are no pirate artifacts or anything like that.

I would also not recommend visiting on any weekend in June, July, or August, and especially not any holiday weekend.

Thanks.. I’d still love to visit Salem itself, I was just really looking forward to a Pirate museum. Ahh well, maybe I’ll go visit it anyway, if I ever make it to Salem.

The Grace O’Malley pirate museum in County Clare has the same vibe. I was so disappointed, she’s the fiercest.
