Dia de los muertos by papergirl

It’s a nice place to shop and take pictures. The Dia de los muertos celebration was fun, there were tons of people and so many kids but it was great because they all were so happy. The alters were nice but sad, it’s a good learning experience there’s a lot of history. It’s one of my favorite places in LA. good food, good people, nice weather go. ;)

I didn’t make it to el Día de los Muertos, but I, too, love Olvera Street. I go there for huaraches and get a little bit high from the smell of all the leather hanging on the stalls. And I go to La Golondrina Café for birria (barbecued goat), something you don’t find on too many menus, except at birrierías, of course.
