Worth visiting!

A beautiful city

My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to explore. I think the trolley tour is a good place to start, but I wish I’d been able to take more of the walking tours. I also wish I’d had more time in Bonaventure (where the photo was taken). I’ve been in a lot of cemetaries, but none so elaborate.

Cool!

Thanks for the tip, I’m driving down to FLA and back to NY this winter season and I can’t wait to spend 1 day in Savannah, I know its not much but I’ll do my best to see the Bonaventure cemetary. any other tips are appreciated.

(P.S. you live in Tennessee, but its not blue on your ‘visited/been to’ places map)

One thing to note is that Bonaventure is not actually in town; it’s on the outskirts. Most of the touristy maps don’t include it, but if you ask someone at the visitor’s center they’ll give you directions. Oh, and wear comfortable shoes, preferably not sandals—the paths through Bonaventure are more sand than gravel in spots.

If you have time, I highly recommend taking at least one tour. The city is so rich in history, and it’s neat to walk/ride around and have someone tell you the stories behind everything!

P.S. Thanks for pointing that out! I never really got around to marking everywhere I’ve been.

Awesome. I have a rental car so I’ll be able to go now that i know to ask/look for it! I’ll take a walking tour if the weather is nice.
