Lovely place, lovely people
I was there a couple of years ago, going along the coast. Most excellent place and the fort there is quite spectacular, and also massively depressing.

You get a real feel for how much the Europeans messed up that part of the world. Somehow though, the local inhabitants are not bearing the grudge, when they have every right to.
