Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Greasy-spoon goodness

No pretensions at the Huddle. This is the real deal—a classic, old-fashioned American diner. The grill and the cook are in full view right behind the counter. The walls are full of old celebrity photos and mementos. On one wall is a U.S. map where patrons can stick pins indicating their birthplaces. The entertainment is a little ten-inch TV/VCR combo with old videotapes piled around it. The food is cooked and served by honest, hard-working folks.

The food? It is what it is—reasonably priced and nothing fancy. Note, however, that the preserves are made from scratch, and the apple butter in particular is so good that it’s worth a visit all by itself.

Let them know that it’s your first time there, and you’ll get a “Huddle buck” good for a dollar off your next meal. They’re open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch.
