it is still veeery clean though I guess expensive would be relative. The other day a Dutch 43er said that Singapore’s cheap (wince) and my French hubby thinks the country is good value for money. Me I say that it really depends on what you are looking for and there is truly something for every budget.

Eating well is cheap in Singapore. I find Bali more expensive for that, for example, because there are eating places for locals and eating places for tourists – whereas food is democratic in Singapore :-).
