While I have been to the Bay Area a number of times the past few years it has been about 14 years since I spent any time in San Francisco itself. In a few weeks I will be visiting with my wife and look forward to seeing the city again and seeing what’s new, like this place

You should check out the M.H. de Young Museum if you get a chance. It’s in Golden Gate Park which is always nice for an afternoon stroll. Plus the building is pretty incredible (and brand spanking new).

Thanks for the tip. We are going out for Katrina’s 20th High School reunion (sound familiar), but we only have one day in San Fran proper as the other day will be up the road in Novato/Sonoma area visiting relatives.
We are still trying to figure out schedule for the day so we might make it over to GGP and the museum. I’ll keep an eye out for Ellis too and maybe check on your painting for you if it hasn’t left town yet. :>)
