I spent the first 12 years of my life here. Since I’ve been away it’s gotten to be quite the town. It was run down with cow pastures and corn fields but they’re slowly diminishing to acres of new $500k homes.

Memories of eating roast beef sandwiches at The Canopy, crabs at Tangiers, shrip salad subs from Salerno’s and getting ice cream from High’s are still in my mind. Watching movies at Carrolltown Mall and shopping at K-Mart when there still was a mall was what filled my childhood. Okay, so most of the food places and the mall were in Eldersburg, but they’re basically the same place.
