I took two great night classes at UAA: Jazz Theory I and II. I believe Karen Strid was the teach—and it was a great collection of music enthusiasts in both classes. I learned most of my theory here and played piano about 4 hours a night … all during the winter months, which added a bit of wonder to the whole thing. Night classes rule!
