In 1997, I saw Robert Wilson’s staging of Claude Debussy’s Pelleas et Melisande with Dawn Upshaw, Russell Braun, Jose Van Dam, and Robert Lloyd; James Conlon conducted. In 2005, I attended a performance of Wolgang Amadeus Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito with Christoph Pregardien and Susan Graham.
