We used to find blue glass all over the bay side ! We used to clam with our toes before you had to go way out to avoid the pollution? Beach Parties every night and staying up afytrewards to catch the sunrise and the first and best surf of the day! I remember “tumbletown” the trampolines as well and the prams to sail on the bay . Le Garage disco and Joe Pops Shore Bar where Eddie and the Cruisers played as well as Tiny Tims wife Miss “something-or-other” ... Ann Higgins owned the lighthouse Restaurant and Maisy Hodes played at the hootnannys! We had two homes on the island . The fisrone was a Frank Lloyd Wright design and the second was a extreme peaked roof and became known as the “Pizza Hut” house…On the Bay side between Harvey Cedars and Loveladies! LBI always did and always will hold a special place in my heart as I met the love of my life there .
