Changsha is an interesting place to visit just because its a standard Chinese city. It claims to be the home of Mao, actually Mao’s hometown is a little bit further, but Changsha is the closest major city.
The best thing about Changsha was the food – I hightly recommend youlin lajao, mai ye shangshu, huoguo ruo, and the fried noodles you can get almost anywhere!
