Why I want to go to this place  — 2 years ago

I was born German, I am Australian by choice and since 1995 Zambian in my heart. My husband took me to Zimbabwe and Zambia to show me the places he grew up and the places he loves. Zambia has been fascinating since our first visit and it has never let me go again. I look forward to our next visit in November 2006 and I already know I will be sad to leave again. Away from Zambia I am homesick to a home I have never had.

I know the feeling. Since returning to the States, I really long for the Zambian people, landscape and lifestyle. It is the home I never had!
