Worth visiting!

Recommendation: Yelp Boston  — 1 year ago

I just stumbled upon this site today, but maybe it’s old news. I wrote about it in the 3 person vegetarian group here on 43 places, but I think it’s worth sharing with everyone.

I found a fantastic entry on Yelp called Beyond Salad—Restaurants with Great Vegan Selections. This list is certainly not just for vegans, but lovers of good food. I haven’t been to every place on the list, but I’ve been to the Other Side Cafe (pricey!) and can’t recommend it enough. I’ve heard so many good things about Grasshopper that I can’t believe I haven’t been there considering how close I lived to Chinatown. Well, it’s fun to get out and visit new places. A fantastic place for everyone is the Trident Booksellers & Cafe—eat a lovely meal, hang out with a cup of coffee and read a magazine or book!

Thanks! What a great find. I’ve been to some of these places, but a few look new, I can’t wait to try them :) And Grasshopper is in fact amazing. I would recommend the No Name dish which is in fact immitation general gau’s chicken. Also the vegan cheese cake is fantastic. It’s totally worth the trip. And I’ve heard of trident before, I’ll have to make a visit.

Thank you!

I love the Trident Bookstore. I like to go and have french toast late at night while reading a book or magazine. they have a great collection of magazines to choose from and really good food and smoothies!

Oh my gosh, I just had one of those facepalm moments. I actually wasn’t thinking of Grasshopper when I wrote that sentence, I was thinking of Buddha’s Delight.

But thanks for letting me know.
