This is where L lives, the woman I’m going to marry. I’m originally from the UK, born in Cheltenham, but grew up in London. I currently live in Brisbane in Australia, but to be honest, it just feels like a place I’m staying.

Chicago, however, felt like Home. I so comfortable there, even though loads of people had trouble understanding my accent (which is very clear BBC English!). The mix of being Mid-Western and being in a big city is perfect for me.

The chance of moving to Chicago is a major bonus about falling for L. We’re planning on getting married. It’s now just a matter of planning and action.
